The 5 big reasons

After several dialogues with different people from the poor neighborhoods of São Paulo, I came up with the five great reasons that lead most of the peripheral voters to vote in Bolsonaro.
THE FIRST GREAT REASON - ANTIPETISM
Antipetism was fostered by the Traditional Great National Media. The media sold the idea of the PT as an enemy of Brazil and the people, seeking answers to the crisis we are experiencing today, bought this idea. Following this line of reasoning, the peripheral electorate wants to elect anyone other than the PT. It is in this scenario that Jair Bolsonaro appears: "The Savior of the Homeland!", Presenting magical and contradictory solutions to the challenges faced in the periphery. With a language that talks directly with the common man, of equal to equal.
THE SECOND MAJOR REASON - POLITICAL RENEWAL
The people have a strong desire for political renewal, they want new faces. The question I ask is: Is it worth a renewal at any cost? Let us be cautious and think what kind of renewal we want.
THE THIRD GROUND REASON - THE PERIPHERY IS ABANDONED TO THEIR OWN LUCK
The abandonment by the public power to the peripheral population, generating the high rate of violence: assaults, rapes, robberies and murders makes people cry out for more security. In this sense, Bolsonaro answers the demand of the peripheral population for security, even if it is a questionable proposal, he saw this demand.
The ordinary working man from the periphery is tired of being robbed and seeing people die from a cell phone, one does not have justice on the periphery. Since the State does not provide public security policies capable of containing urban violence (which has also arrived in the countryside), Bolsonaro sells the idea that citizens should be responsible for their own security by making the Disarmament Statute more flexible and access facilitated by firearms. Still in the branch of Public Security, Justice and Citizenship, the common man from the periphery asks himself: "Where is Human Rights when a family man is killed in a robbery?"
THE FOURTH GREAT REASON - THE POPULARIZATION OF TECHNOLOGY, INTERNET AND SOCIAL NETWORKS X THE PHENOMENON OF FAKENEWS (FALSE NEWS)
Today anyone can send instant messages via WhatsApp, including people with low educational level and not literate, because in addition to the possibility of communicating via text messages, we have the possibility to send videos, audios and images. On the other hand, most people still do not have the maturity to deal with fake news on the internet and on social networks. This combination of factors causes the spread of fake news very quickly.
THE FIFTH MAJOR REASON - SOCIAL INEQUALITY AND NEOPENTECOSTALISM'S ADVANCE IN THE PERIPHERY
It is known that life on the periphery is not easy, people here have a history of many violations of basic rights. Establishing thus the main challenges of the peripheral population: unemployment; low quality of public education; I wait for a long time in the long queues to do exams, appointments, surgical procedures and the lack of medicines in the public health system; the misery that leads to hunger; underemployment and low salary; The high prices: on bills of light, water and rent, gas cooking, fuel, basic basket items.
Beyond the violence that haunts us and bleeds the periphery! It is in the face of these challenges that neo-Pentecostalism has grown that presents itself as a solution to all evils, presents the theology of prosperity and brings in its discourse the preconization of rigid moral values against other ways of seeing and thinking the world.
They end up encouraging people on the periphery to close and become fascists, with antidemocratic and imperialist values. Guided by the neo-Pentecostalist discourse, they see in Bolsonaro the savior of the traditional Brazilian family, of morals and good customs. It establishes here a difficulty of accepting the diverse forms of being and being in the world.
In conclusion, analyzing the scenario of the current peripheral social conjuncture realizes how much momentum is conducive to the unbridled growth of the extreme right in the peripheries.
